sunken garden film series

Summer 2024 Lineup!

Free Summer Cinema at the Courthouse Sunken Gardens is back!

Screenings take place on Friday evenings in July and August in the iconic courthouse Sunken Garden at 8:30 p.m. The series is made possible by a collaboration between the Santa Barbara County Office of Arts & Culture, Arts & Lectures, and Santa Barbara County Parks as well as many generous sponsors.

Please note, there will be no film screening on the evening of August 2nd, during Fiesta.

Guests may set out blankets and chairs anytime after 12 p.m. on movie nights. Low-back chairs are welcome, as are non-synthetic blankets (to help keep the lawn lovely!) People are encouraged to bring jackets as it gets chilly at night.

Please keep in mind that the County is not responsible for any items left unattended on the lawn. We hope to see you there!
