Congratulations on receiving a City of Santa Barbara Arts Grant. The following information is a timeline to assist grant recipients of the City of Santa Barbara Community Arts, Organizational Development, or Events and Festivals grant funds.
REVISED BUDGETS DUE- DECEMBER 1, 2023
Revised budgets serve as the basis for your grant agreement and contract. The revised budget is listed as the two columns on your grant application budget that you did not complete as part of your grant application. You will need to complete the revised budget and upload it in the grants portal and complete the "Revised Budget Report".

CONTRACTS SIGNED AND EXECUTED-December 15, 2023
Once the Office of Arts and Culture has received your revised budget, a grant agreement will be drafted and emailed to the contact person listed in the grants portal. The grant agreement must be signed via DocuSign with the required insurance certificates no later than December 15, 2022.

GRANT PAYMENT DISBURSEMENT: JANUARY 1, 2023-DECEMBER 31, 2024
Once your grant contract has been fully executed, grant funds are available as a reimbursement for expenses that have already been incurred. Grantees are able to submit for up to 90% of the grant award as expenses are incurred. Requests for funds must be made through the grants portal. Grant funds may take up to 30 days to process.

GRANT CREDIT
The City of Santa Barbara funds the Community Arts, Organizational Development, and Events and Festivals grant programs. Please recognize the City of Santa Barbara as a funder by using the City logo in all materials announcing or promoting your grant program. Logos are available for download by clicking here.
FINAL REPORTS COMPLETE- DECEMBER 31, 2024
The final report for your grant project must be submitted through the grants portal no later than December 31, 2024. We strongly encourage grantees to review the reference evaluations prior to the start of your grant project. Reference evaluations can be found on our website at: http://www.sbac.ca.gov/city-grants/
