Scaling the Walls- Channing Peake Gallery

Scaling the Walls is a single exhibition spanning City Hall and Channing Peake galleries that explores the history and contemporary practice of muralism in Santa Barbara County. Featuring large-scale original works and designs from emerging artists, collectives, and educational institutions, the exhibition highlights the artist’s role as a vital cultural catalyst. Through this collection, the show aims to spark dialogue about our shared environment while celebrating the rich tradition of personal expression in public spaces.  The Channing Peake Gallery presents artists and organizations from across Santa Barbara County whose work highlights the continued relevance of murals as a community-centered art form.
